A 25-year-old man is said to have been killed while serving in the Ukrainian Foreign Legion. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry is looking into the claims.

Danish Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod told reporters today that his ministry was investigating reports of a Danish citizen being slain in Ukraine.

A 25-year-old Danish man was murdered while fighting for the Ukrainian Foreign Legion near Mykolaiv, according to TV2.

Rasmus Tantholdt, a TV2 reporter, said last night that he had proof of the man’s death from a lot of different sources.

The Russians have the physique

Tantholdt stated this morning that sources told him they had seen photographs of a deceased person who looked like the 25-year-old male on Russian channels.

Because the body is said to be in Russian hands, it will be hard for the Foreign Ministry to say that he died.

His death was confirmed three days ago, and he is the first Dane to be killed in combat during the Ukraine conflict.

According to Sky News, a British citizen was killed and another went missing while fighting for Ukrainian forces in the same location.
