APC Crisis: Shettima hires Adamawa APC Officials to Suspend Me – Sen Abbo

According to Ishaku Abbo, the senator representing Adamawa Northern Zone, the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has descended into witch-hunting and personal attacks against some of the party’s members.

Ishaku said that some Adamawa APC party officials had been hired by Senator Kashim Shettima, Chief Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s running mate for president, to suspend him on his verified Facebook page.

He claims that Kashim is fighting him needlessly. Hiring party men to combat anyone who opposes his wicked quest for power is wrong, as opposed to addressing those whose mandate he stole.

Sen Abbo claimed that Shettima had published outdated photos of Catholic bishops as evidence of his support for Christians, leading to the mobilization of phony bishops. Now he engages in crass intimidation of torchbearers of truth, those who genuinely love the party.

Cliff said that he received information from an insider in the APC that Kashim had paid Mohammed Abdulahi, Mustapha Ribadu, Saidu Naira, Jafar Haske, and many others to execute his removal in Yola today.

Abbo declared that he was prepared for warfare and urged Shettima to order his translators to stop fighting or they would lose.

The reported dismissal of Abbo has received support from other Adamawa APC stakeholders.

Kashim’s decision to remove Abbo at this crucial moment is a dangerous and cancerous move, according to Honorable Vrati S. Nzonzo, an APC Chieftain and the party’s candidate for the federal constituency of Lamurde, Demsa, and Numan.

Former Lamurde Local Government Chairman Vrati expressed concern that the party should not follow that course because it will harm everyone in the Adamawa party structure more than help.

“If there is even anyone to be suspended is the party chairman, a Man Who has an oath of office guiding his conscience.

“The Chairman was without fear or favor, boldly came out and declare an anti-party behavior by supporting a candidate of another is the one that need to be suspended not Abbo.[/quotation]

Nzonzo remarked, [quotation] Anyone that touches Senator Cliff has declared a political war in Adamawa.[/quotation]

Alhaji Ahmed Lawan, the organizational secretary for the Adamawa APC, was a different stakeholder who stated that the party needed to be informed about the dangers of suspending Abbo.

He asserted that if the party is going to suspend Sen Abbo at any costs, they had to also suspend the state’s chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Bilal, who has openly engaged in anti-party actions by supporting a rival candidate from a different party.

Only Saidu Naira and Abdullahi Mohammed returned the calls that this medium made to all of the people whose names were listed above and who were paid to suspend Ishaku today.

The party’s press secretary, Abdullahi, only stated that he was unable to remark on an unfounded matter.

He claimed that Sen Abbo is nothing more than rising dust in areas without water to dampen it.

According to him, he is unaware of that progress and cannot praise what he does not know. He believes that it must first happen before he can remark on what Sen Abbo mentioned.

Naira, a party participant from the Adamawa Northern Senatorial zone, claimed that Sen Abbo’s egregious behavior had gotten out of hand earlier than anyone had thought and that the struggle against the party was not yielding the anticipated outcomes.

It’s sad, he continued, that anyone seeking quick success may use religion to attract unwarranted attention and support.

He was concerned that since Abbo’s return to the APC, he had been involved in one scandal after another and that the senator had never contacted or attempted to cooperate with the pertinent zone stakeholders to achieve party unity.

He charged Cliff with working alone without enlisting help to further the party’s goals.

He claimed that if they were successful in suspending Abbo, it proves that they are actively pursuing a hidden goal in this nation against everyone who is not Muslim.

He stated that it is a grave warning to non-Muslims and people of decent morals to speak out against injustice and anything that will ruin Nigeria in the name of religion.
