Apple Needs to Be Bold With the AirPods Pro 3 If it Wants Me to Contemplate Replacing My Old Ones

Apple Needs to Be Bold With the AirPods

Apple Needs to Be Bold With the AirPods, AirPods Pro 2 are among the best true wireless earbuds available for use with your iPhone, iPad, and other devices. There’s a lot to admire about these small but formidable buds, which offer considerably enhanced noise-cancellation and adaptive audio.

Apple Needs to Be Bold With the AirPodsHaving said that, the AirPods Pro 2 aren’t without flaws. While the AirPods Pro 3 are a strong package overall, there are a few ways they may be improved so that they make an even bigger impression when they are (hopefully) introduced in 2024. Keeping this in mind, here are three options that may entice you to upgrade if they become available.

Arctic White has been a hallmark of Apple goods for decades, dating back to the original iPods in 2001 and 2002. The little white headphones and their cords were so distinctive that they were easily identified by street burglars aiming for an easy score. Other manufacturers may have adopted the color after more than two decades, but Apple maintains a strong relationship with it.

Consumers are interested in being able to express themselves a little more since white is no longer the statement that it was in the early 2000s. After all, iPhones have been available in a variety of colors for years, and the AirPods Max is no exception. Surprisingly, rival earbuds such as Google’s Pixel Buds also come in a variety of hues.

Is it unfair to urge Apple to consider adding a couple of additional colors to the AirPods Pro 3 lineup? We don’t think so.

When iOS 17 introduced Adaptive Audio, it addressed several fundamental issues with the AirPods Pro 2. Users may now be certain that if they want to initiate a conversation, their AirPods will do so automatically. There will be no more pausing your podcast or silencing your music before you begin speaking. It’s a significant improvement.

The question is whether Apple will provide even more in 2024. For example, could the AirPods Pro 3 allow consumers to tailor the levels of noise suppression provided by Adaptive Audio? Could they, for example, provide a variety of noise-cancellation presets? Or a slider that allows you to modify the settings to your liking?

While Adaptive Audio is a huge step forward, offering users more choice over their audio experience would be another huge step forward. This might be especially valuable for persons with hearing loss, who may suffer from specific frequencies, which the AirPods could then aid support.

Finally, putting health tracking functions in the AirPods Pro 3 would be a very exciting opportunity for Apple to make a significant impression.

The Apple Watch Series 9 is already an amazing health-tracking device, and we know Apple has made significant investments in this area over the years. However, it would be fantastic if the AirPods Pro 3 included their health tracking functions to create an even more thorough experience.

For example, could the AirPods Pro 3 provide consumers with a hearing test, allowing them to spot potential hearing impairments earlier in life? Hearing loss affects 48 million Americans, making it the third most frequent health problem among the elderly, according to

Hearing loss and dementia have been linked in one study. The ability to take a hearing test quickly and easily could help millions of individuals improve their hearing health.

Furthermore, if the AirPods Pro 3 could assess your body temperature through your ear canal, this could aid with fertility tracking or possibly detecting illness. It may then allow users to change their activity pattern before experiencing symptoms, such as limiting the amount of exercise they undertake to avoid taxing their body while it is already stressed.

There are already reports circulating that Apple is working on at least some of these. Mark Gurman stated in his Bloomberg newsletter in July that Apple is working on these health-tracking features for the AirPods; whether or not they will be available for the AirPods Pro 3 is unknown.

However, transforming the AirPods from an audio gadget to a multi-purpose tool would be a significant step forward, making them an even more enticing offer.

Given the significant improvements from the AirPods Pro to the AirPods Pro 2, we believe Apple will provide a similarly stunning rise in its offering in 2024. These are just a few ideas that we believe would be a positive move forward.
