About Cullman Center Fellowship Programme
The Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center for Scholars and Authors is an international fellowship programme available to academics, independent scholars, and writers whose work would directly benefit from access to the collections of the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building (novelists, playwrights, poets). Applying visual artists who are working on a book project is likewise acceptable. For a nine-month term at the Library, from September through May, the Center invites 15 Fellows each year. Along with working on their own projects, the Fellows participate in frequent discussions at the Center and in open forums around the Library.
Scope
Those whose work will directly benefit from access to the research collections at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building at Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street are eligible for fellowships from the Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers. The Library is a world-renowned resource for study in anthropology, art, geography, history, languages and literature, philosophy, politics, popular culture, psychology, religion, sociology, sports, and urban studies. It is known for the extraordinary comprehensiveness of its contents.
Terms & Conditions

Schwarzman Building rather than at other departments within the Library. People looking for support for projects that would immediately result in degrees are ineligible.
