
Name for Papers: Journal of Information Ethics
A particular journal challenge for Fall 2023 will tackle how id intersects with knowledge and knowledge ethics.
We welcome articles and columns that contact upon the next questions: How do problems with id complicate, inflame, or disrupt the dissemination of data? What’s the (un)moral relationship between knowledge and self-embodiment? How do data and knowledge (de)assemble individuality on-line, in enterprise, or in on a regular basis life?
Areas of exploration might embrace, however are usually not restricted to:
- The intersection of gender, sexuality, race, and different markers of id with data/knowledge
- Algorithmic bias or technological id politics
- Consumerism, focused ads, and neoliberalism
- Social media’s function in misinformation and actuality distortion
- Prolonged, augmented, or digital actuality’s influence on self-embodiment
Submission Tips
The deadline for abstracts (300-500 phrases) is February 15, 2023 and authors can be notified of acceptance by February 22, 2023.
The deadline for full articles is Could 15, 2023. Manuscripts ought to be 10 to twenty double-spaced pages, plus references. Please don’t use footnotes or quantity the references. Embody your summary, transient writer biography, and mailing and e-mail addresses in ultimate submissions.
