Contract Inflation: ‘Where is Our Conscience?’ Senator Abbo Condemned Fintiri

The Senator representing Adamawa northern senatorial district Senator Ishaku Abbo accuses governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for over inflating contracts.

This is coming after the commissioning a 3.5Km road in Numan by the Fintiri led administration, the road was said to cos the state government about 1.3 billion naira.

The senator shared his views and condemned the act through his Facebook personal page.

We are constructing a 10.5 kilometers asphaltic Rural Roads in Mubi North via the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for N1.1 Billion. Yes 10.5 kilometers for N1.1Bilion.  The roads are;

1. KWA to Betso (phase 1) 3 Kilometers for N290,959, 693. 50 ( about 300Million)

2. KWA to Betso ( Phase 2) 3.5 Kilometers for N345,371, 396.50 ( about 345 Million)

3. Muvur to Chambal a 4 Kilometers road for N396,130,784.54 ( less than 400 Million)

The total lengths of the roads is 10.5 Kilometers and the total contract sum is N1.1 Billion.  

This is Federal Government projects.

Adamawa State Government Under Ahmadu Fintiri is  constructing a 3.5Km road in Numan for N1.3 Billion.

Where is our conscience?

What made these Kleptocrats think they can over inflate contracts and nothing will happen to them?
