Easter: Sen Abbo Enjoin Christians to Show Compassion, Hope, and Tolerance Towards Fellow Citizens

Senator Ishaku Abbo of Adamawa North has urged Nigerians, especially Christians, to show compassion, hope, and tolerance towards their fellow citizens as they celebrate Easter.
In a statement to newsmen in Abuja on the 2nd of April 2021, Abbo through his media aide Michael V Bolgent said that Easter is one of the most significant events in the Christian calendar, as it commemorates Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death and resurrection, and also serves as the foundation upon which Christian faith is built.
Despite ethnic and religious differences among Nigerians, the lawmaker encouraged citizens to tolerate one another.
Abbo admonsh Adamawa Indigenes to Preach religious freedom, neighborly compassion, and a dedication to civic obligations.
