From June 25th, the CAF will hold an AFCON draw for the year 2021
All African World Cup qualifications that were scheduled to take place in June have been postponed by CAF
The Cameroon Local Organizing Committee (LOC) consented to the postponement after the Confederation of African Football requested it is moved back due to Covid-19-related issues.
Because the qualifying finished earlier this year, all 24 berths for the 2021 AFCON have been filled.
Meanwhile, a new date has yet to be determined, with the event set to begin on January 9th, 2022, and end on February 6th, 2022.
All African World Cup qualifications that were scheduled to take place in June have been postponed by CAF, and will instead take place in September and October.
