Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has cautioned citizens in the state not to make any transaction with Facebook account handlers bearing his name, saying it’s fake.
In a statement, he released Thursday and made available to newsmen in Damaturu, the Director-General, Press and Public Affairs to the Governor, Mamman Mohammed, gave the notice.
“This is to draw the attention of the public to a fake Facebook
account bearing the name of His Excellency, Hon. Mai Mala Buni,
Executive Governor of Yobe State.“The handler of the fake account was asking for some people to send account and telephone numbers,â€
