Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, paid a surprise visit to Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, a former governor of the state, on Friday, amid the defection storm currently raging in the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In the battle for the APC structure in Kano State, Shekarau, a senator representing Kano Central District, was defeated by Ganduje.
A reliable source who asked to remain anonymous said that Governor Ganduje was at the Mundubawa home in Shekarau on Friday evening.
Governor Ganduje, he claims, has just gone. They went inside and had a conversation, but no one knows what they talked about.
As of the time of publication, neither Governor Ganduje nor Senator Shekarau’s supporters could confirm what happened during the meeting.
