“I Really Can’t Keep Calm” – Man Says as He Celebrates Winning Chevening Scholarship

An excited young man identified as Babongile Mncedisi Ncube has celebrated winning the highly competitive UK Chevening government Master’s scholarship to study at University Of Leeds.

The brilliant man, Babongile has shared that he have been chosen as a Chevening scholar to study Msc (MEng) in Geotechnical Engineering at the University Of Leeds.

The UK Chevening scholarship offers full financial support to study for any eligible master’s degree at any #uk university whilst also gaining access to a wide range of exclusive academic, professional, and cultural experiences.

It was Funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and partner organisations, Chevening Scholarships are awarded to individuals with demonstrable leadership potential and strong academic backgrounds. 

When Cheveners return home at the end of their studies, the new Knowledge, networks, qualifications, and confidence  they bring back with them should mean they are an even greater asset to any organisation.

While announcing his unique academic achievement on LinkedIn, babongile narrated that he can’t keep calm and he was so excited to shared that he was chosen as Chevening scholar.

I really can’t keep calm. I have always wished to take this picture holding this poster written, “I CAN’T KEEP CALM I HAVE BEEN CHOSEN FOR CHEVENING”. I remember each year I will see awarded Chevening Scholars being posted by #UKinZimbabwe. I will adore these posts and get really inspired. I didn’t know that in this very particular day I will also begin my #CheveningJourney.

I will be studying MSc (MEng) in “Geotechnical Engineering as a Chevener at the University of Leeds, a Russell Group University. Et augebitur scientia” – ‘And knowledge will be increased’. I am happy to be joining a global network of the #universityofleeds  with scholars and alumni in more than 197 different countries.
