Kick Out Polio: It is said that a thousand-mile trip begins with a single step. This is the end of Kunle Adeyanju, a Nigerian guy who rode his motorcycle solo from London to Lagos.
In April, theGazetteNGR reported that Adeyanju, who calls himself a Lionheart, began a 25-day bike ride from London to Lagos.
Adeyanju stated that his voyage was planned with the goal of raising awareness and funds for the Kick Out Polio campaign.
The citizen set a world record by traveling through at least 14 countries to reach Nigeria. Adeyanju has been updating his followers and the rest of the world about his stopovers and problems in various nations via his microblogging platform account.
According to accounts, Adeyanju’s biking spanned at least 12,000 kilometers. The brave man traveled through France, Spain, Morocco, Senegal, Mali, Ghana, Cotonous, Cote d’Ivoire, and finally Nigeria, where he arrived.
Adeyanju revealed the aim of his voyage by saying he wants to raise money for charity (Kick Out Polio), promising that the money raised will go towards primary healthcare, polio plus project, water, and sanitation.
Adeyanju was accompanied by a group of people from the various countries he visited on his journey. Nigeria was no exception, as the citizen was greeted by a motorcade when he landed in Lagos State today, far early than his scheduled arrival time.
