Mr Adisa Babalola Rasaq is a native of Odeda town in Ogun state’s Odeda Local Govt Area. From 1957 to 1995, he was a carpenter with the Nigerian Army Supply and Transport Unit Eleyele Ibadan. After his retirement, he moved into a run-down residence in an army building that was ultimately transferred to Post Housing Development Ltd. So Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya, the Chief of Army Staff, gave PHDL the order to construct a modest one-bedroom cottage for him so as not to expel him.

At the event, commanders, staff officers, and a representative of the managing director of Post Housing Development Ltd., as well as Mr Rasaq’s children and relatives, were present.
