Nigeria’s Dr Malgwi Receives Award of Excellence in Teaching in Teaching at Bentley Univeristy, USA

Congratulations to a Proud Nigerians doing great in other Nations.

Adamawa’s son who based in the United States of America, Dr. Charles A. Malgwi has received the Prestigious Bentley University 2021 Gregory H. Adamian Award for Excellence in Teaching.

“This annual award is given to a Faculty member who demonstrates
a consistent commitment to educating Bentley students by challenging
them intellectually and serving as a source of inspiration and
motivation”,
according to the Office Of The Provost of Bentley University
states.
Dr. Malgwi has been an Accounting Professor at
Bentley University for 23 years. This award is unlike any other in many
respects to Professor Malgwi.
Bentley
University is regarded as one of the best private business schools in
the nation. The University is well-known for its teaching and has a
distinguished faculty and scholars.

Winning such an award in such a competitive atmosphere filled with
world-class educators is nothing short of remarkable! Second, such an
award is not given to many minority faculty members. Accounting is
perhaps one of the most difficult courses for many students.
As
an Accounting Professor, motivating students can be a real challenge,
particularly in the midst of a pandemic where many classes are conducted
remotely.
Professor Malgwi holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of
Reading in the United Kingdom, an MBA from Suffolk University in Boston,
Massachusetts, and MSc, BSc, and Professional Diploma in Accounting
& Finance from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in Zaria, Nigeria. He
is also a graduate of Teachers Training College in Waka-Biu, Borno
State, Nigeria.
He is the Founder, President, and CEO of Corruption
Prevention Institute, as well as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE),
Certified Fraud Specialist (CFS), and Certified Board Advisor (CBA)
(CPI).
