NYSC Changes Certificate Requirements for Universities and Polytechnics
The proposed adjustments, according to the letter dated June 23, 2021, will take effect beginning with the 2021 Batch ‘A’ service year, which began in March 2021.
The NYSC administration stated it will start putting ‘Course of Study and Date of Graduation’ on new certificates in a document sent to registrars of higher schools and reviewed by THE WHISTLER on Monday.

The NYSC began issuing certificates of national service with passport photos of corps members on them in 2015.
The change, according to the then-NYSC Director-General, Johnson Olawumi, was intended to stop all types of fraud performed by users of the previous certificate.
