Organizer of Miss Rwanda in Police Net Over Sexual Assault

This is what happened to Dieudonne Ishimwe, who organized the Miss Rwanda beauty pageant. She has been arrested because she is accused of sexually assaulting someone.
According to a police statement released on Wednesday (April 27), Prince Kid, a well-known former artist, was arrested on Tuesday.
On many occasions, the 36-year-old is accused of abusing former Miss Rwanda contestants. A spokesman for the Rwandan Independent Bureau (RIB) told AFP that the 36-year-old is accused of doing this.
He added that the case would be referred to the prosecutor’s office “in due course.”
Ishimwe is the CEO of Rwanda Inspiration Backup, the company that puts on the Miss Rwanda pageant every year.
His arrest comes after the organization announced this week that its communications director, a former Miss Rwanda, had quit after four years on the job.
The alleged arrest has caused quite a stir on social media, with the hashtag #missrwanda dominating the trending topics on Wednesday morning.
This came after a discussion on Twitter on Tuesday in which some former contestants talked about how they worked with the person who runs the beauty pageant.
While some were surprised by the charges, others claimed the allegations were false.
