Remember, the military’s Director of Public Relations, Brig.-Gen. In a statement issued on April 9, Mohammed Yerima announced the killing of 11 troops by local militias in the State’s Konshisha LGA.
The troops who were on a state-wide stabilization mission due to a communal crisis between Konshisha and the Oju LG were initially reported missing, but were later discovered dead after a joint search.
