Naira Devaluation | The value of the Naira has fallen against the dollar, which has hurt Nigeria’s economy and inhabitants’ access to some necessities.
A worried Nigerian described Mr Godwin Emefiele, the governor of the Central Bank (CBN), as a failure whose responsibility as the heart of Nigeria’s economy has sorely let the nation down.
Alhaji Abdulkareem Mujitafa, a worried Nigerian, believes that President Muhammadu Buhari should fire Emefiele in order to revive Nigeria’s faltering economy. He is concerned about the ongoing devaluation of the naira against the dollar.
He claims that since Godwin’s appointment as the head of the central bank, nothing significant has contributed to the country’s expanding economy, only a slump and backward shift.
He claimed that as a result, Nigerians are forced to live in squalor and endure unspeakable suffering.
He was concerned that the Dollar was weakening the Naira every day and that the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria was doing little to help.

Economist Abdulkareem slammed the latest nomination of CBN board members to the Senate for Buhari’s confirmation.
He claimed that the board is not necessary because the governor is not committed to addressing the nation’s dire economic situation.
He charged Godwin with politicising the position by engaging in political activity rather than focusing on improving the nation’s economy.

The Naira is now less valuable even in certain African nations that were once looking to Nigeria for assistance, such as Cameroon, Benin Republic, Rwanda, Chad, Niger, and Burkina Faso.
One dollar can currently be exchanged for 700 Naira on the underground market. What the highest inflation rate Nigeria has ever known.

In his opinion, President Muhammadu Buhari should be held accountable for the problems this nation is currently experiencing.

Save our Naira, Abdulkareem pleaded, adding that Godwin’s dismissal should not be considered as he has repeatedly failed to prevent the Naira from falling below the value of a dollar.
Nigerians are unhappy with Godwin’s leadership style at the Central Bank of Nigeria, thus he urged Godwin to retire honourably and depart with dignity.
Abdulkareem promised to arrange a rally calling on President Buhari to fire Godwin after three weeks of this news while speaking with this medium over the phone.
He asserts that the Buhari administration has failed Nigerians in a variety of areas, including security, education, and the breakdown of the nation’s corporate existence.
