The UAE Lowers Fuel Prices for the Month of May

The UAE’s fuel price follow-up committee voted on Friday on the rates of gasoline and its derivatives, which will take effect on May 1st.
The price of “Super 98” reduced from 3.74 dirhams to 3.66 dirhams as a result of the new decisions, while the price of “Special 95” decreased from 3.62 dirhams to 3.55 dirhams.
The price of “E-Plus 91 petrol” fell from 3.55 to 3.48 dirhams, but the price of diesel rose from 4.02 to 4.08 dirhams.
According to Opec Secretariat calculations, the price of the Opec basket of thirteen crudes was $105.33 per barrel on Wednesday, April 27th, compared to $102.94 the day before.
Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Djeno (Congo), Zafiro (Equatorial Guinea), Rabi Light (Gabon), Iran Heavy (Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE), and Merey (UAE) comprise the Opec Reference (Venezuela).
