UK-based Elegant Flix Magazine launched in Nigeria

Elegant Flix, an online UK-based magazine, was recently launched in Nigeria. The event held in Abuja comes on the heels of a successful unveiling of the magazine in the United Kingdom.
According to the publisher, HRM Florence Okonkwo, an international Nollywood actress who had the honor of unveiling the magazine, the 3D online celebrity magazine is out to showcase the talents and achievements of individuals, groups, and organizations in Nigeria and other countries of the world.
The event, which took place at the prestigious Transcorp Hilton Hotel, witnessed the presence of dignitaries from all walks of life, which included royal fathers, politicians, actors, and businessmen and women, amongst others.
Some of the dignitaries were: HRM, Igwe Ngene Nwoye, Akwuke 1 of Akwuke, Igwe Jude Udobi, Igwe Akwaja of Byazin, Etsu of Bwari, Sa-Peyi of Garki, Olu of the Waru kingdom, and Chief Onwurah Agility, founder of the Nollywood New Yam Festival.

Okonkwo, who is also known as the “Queen of Red Carpet, London,” explained that Elegant Flix magazine was born to be an embodiment of information about the who’s who in the motion picture industry, passing across vetted information and creating awareness while providing up-to-date information about your favorite celebrities.
She further said that the overall objective of the magazine is to bring exposure to the talent and rich cultural heritage of the Nigerian people, as well as their art, by showcasing them to a larger audience and informing, entertaining, and educating the general public without regard to age, tribe, race, or ethnicity, and making them available to all to enjoy.
It was gathered that the magazine is partnering with the Actors Guild of Nigeria.
There were dances from different tribes, a red carpet, and a lot of other things to see at the event. One of the highlights was a prayer session for Okonkwo, who is known as “Eze nwanyi Eji Eje Mba,” which was led by all the royal fathers and traditional rulers who were there.
They prayed for the success of the magazine and for the entire slate of projects being executed by the publisher.
Okonkwo thanked the dignitaries that witnessed the occasion as well as her family, fans, and most especially NOIRE TV for featuring the launch in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
She also graced the annual new-yam festival.
