Dr. Dodo’s journey within UN-POLAC is an impressive tale of progress and dedication. His career path has seen him rise from the position of Programme Manager to State Coordinator, and subsequently, Deputy Country President for Northern Nigeria. Further highlighting his multifaceted role within the organization, he also serves as the Editor-In-Chief of POLAC World, a magazine of UN-POLAC.

The distinguished career of Dr. Adamu Muhammad Dodo is not short of accolades. Among the many awards he has received, one that stands out is the UN-POLAC Peace and community relations award, testifying his commitment to fostering harmony and understanding.

His commitment to his profession is further underlined by his affiliations with various professional bodies. These include the Chartered Institute of Global and Diplomacy, the Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy and Management, the Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators of Nigeria, and the Institute of Professional Entrepreneurs and Strategic Administrators of Nigeria.

Dr. Adamu Muhammad Dodo also holds memberships in the Association of Communication Scholars and Professionals of Nigeria, the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, the Chartered Institute of Administration, and the Nigerian Institute of Marketing, among others.

Currently, Dr. Dodo is at the helm of the information and media relations department of Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital in Yola, Adamawa State. He balances this role with his responsibilities as a visiting instructor at Modibbo Adama University.

Furthermore, Dr. Adamu Muhammad Dodo is the lead founder and chairman of the editorial board of Periscope Global Publishers, the pioneer editor-in-chief of POLAC World, and serves as a communication consultant with the WRAPA and FUDECO, among other bodies.

Hailing from Adamawa State in Nigeria, Dr. Dodo’s academic journey is as extensive as it is impressive. A graduate of Mass Communication/English from Bayero University, Kano, he fulfilled his national service in Anambra State under the NYSC scheme during 1998-1999.

His quest for knowledge led him to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Education in 2004 and a postgraduate Diploma in Management, specializing in Human Resources Management in 2010, both from the Federal University of Technology Yola, now known as Modibbo Adama University.

His relentless pursuit of the pinnacle of education led him to secure a Master’s in Public Administration, specializing in Human Resources Management from the National Open University.

This was followed by an honorary Ph.D. in Peace Advocacy, awarded by the Institute of Peace Advocacy of UN-POLAC.

Beyond his professional and academic achievements, Dr. Adamu Muhammad Dodo is an advocate for continuous learning, critical thinking, and sharing ideas through writing.

He enjoys indulging in indoor sports, extensive technical reading, and traveling. Dr. Dodo, a proud father of five children, owes much of his success to the unwavering support of his late wife, who was always his pillar of strength and support.
