Wike and Tahir are competent enough to transform their new offices- Hamisu congratulates new Ministers
The former Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, and the Minister appointed from Adamawa State, Prof Mamman Tahir were commended by an All Progressives Congress, APC, Chieftain, Hon Hamisu Idris Medugu.
Idris described them as echelons Men with a lot of experience both in government and private sectors that Nigeria can begin to feel their impacts as Ministers of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Minister of Education.
While extolling their abilities Medugu recalled how Wike has massively changed River State by bringing physical infrastructure development in the entire state capital.
According to him is certain Wike will create a new modern Abuja municipal and immediately remove illegal structures that are defacing the beauty of the federal and distorting the real master plan.
He called on Wike to work with the Abuja master plan, especially the environment board of FCT which is in charge of sanitation and the security aspect.
He said Abuja should maintain a standard of world cities where power generation, security lights and cameras are fixed in every street and road.
The Adamawa State-born business thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his thoughtful leadership Ideas who see the need to change the Nigeria system of Education.
He said the leadership of Bola in on tract and the wisdom to give the ministry to Professor Mamman Tahir, a renowned Educationist with experience spanning many decades.
According to Hamisu the career of Tahir as a professor of Law and a university teacher at the University of Maiduguri and later administrator as the vice Chancellor who will be said of he has the building blocks ability with requisite development mechanisms to transform the entire educational system of the country.
Hamisu in an interview with our Yola correspondent went on to say that Tahir has successfully managed the Abuja Law Law School as an administrator-Director General (DG).
Also praised is Tahir for facilitating the siting of the Yola Campus of the Law School, which is today a model of development and enhances the socio-economy life of Adamawa Citizens.
Being an astute APC die-hard who has directly and indirectly worked for the success of Tinubu helping to grow the party and serving in many capacities, his last point of public engagement was the Vice Chancellor of Baze University of Abuja.
Hamisu congratulated Wike and Tahir and said the duo minister would be a good pillar of support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s led administrator and strengthen the APC party in the country.
